Sola was founded in 2023 by Jessica Wu and Neil Deshmukh, who were previously at MIT and have experienced firsthand the RPA pain point within their previous experiences in finance and healthcare (at companies like Citadel Securities, IBM-Watson, MGH, BWH, & Goldentree), and have extensive research experience in relevant areas (published in NeurIps/IEEE for research on multimodal models, computer vision, and robotics).
Sola is backed by Y Combinator (S23 batch) and most recently raised +$3.5MM of funding in their seed round, led by Sarah Guo at Conviction, as well as founders and executives from Dropbox, Zoom, Scale, ZenBusiness, and Hightouch.
